All versions of APRS support Vector (line) maps. There are a number of different formats, but most versions of APRS will
read more than one of them (Pocket APRS for the Palm being the exception)
DCW Maps
These maps are believed to have been developed from US satellite data. They are pretty good and provide
good results in rural areas, but not much detail in urban areas. These work with WinAPRS and APRS-CE.
DOS Maps
These maps have been generated by Bob WB4APR, they are not very detailed but are Ok, some of them are not very accuratly positioned.
These should work with pretty well all versions of APRS.
Detailed WinAPRS Maps
These maps have been generated by Dave ZL3TRX and Rob ZL3RX using GIS data and converting it to DXF format and then to APRS format.
These work with WinAPRS and APRS-CE.
